Daily Schedule:

 

💎 Day 1: Saturday July 11, 2026

1:00pm - Making Movement Matter (at Developpe's Dance Studio - 59 Union Ave, Sudbury 01776)

We’ll dive into movement patterns that directly support your flying. Learn how to engage the right muscles, move with intention, and build strength that translates to the air.

3:30pm - Activated in the Air (at Revolution Trapeze - Crow Island - Track Rd., Stow, MA 01775)

Take what you’ve learned and bring it to life on the rig. This session focuses on activating your foundation and creating stronger, more connected flying.

 

💎 Day 2: Sunday July 12, 2026

1:00pm - Focused Foundations for Flying (at Developpe's Dance Studio - 59 Union Ave, Sudbury 01776)

Build on Day 1 with deeper focus of specific needs on the rig. We’ll fine-tune key mechanics that impact your takeoff, your swing, a break and more! 

3:30pm - Set-Up for Success (at Revolution Trapeze - Crow Island - Track Rd., Stow, MA 01775)

Now it’s time to apply everything you’ve learned. This session brings it all together to 'set' you up with precision and power.

FAQ's

Q: What level flyer is this for? A: This workshop is designed for flyers who have some experience working on a swing on the flying trapeze and are ready to deepen their body awareness and technique. If you're not sure if it's right for you, reach out and we'll talk it through!

Q: Do I need to be in peak physical condition? A: Nope! You just need to show up ready to learn and move. The conditioning sessions are educational and supportive — we'll meet you where you are.

Q: What should I bring? A: Wear comfortable movement clothes appropriate for both an indoor studio and outdoor flying trapeze setting. More details will be sent after you register.

Q: Can I attend just one day? A: The two days are designed to build on each other, so attending both is strongly encouraged for the full transformation. Reach out if you have a scheduling conflict and we'll see what we can do.

Q: Can I still participate if I am injured or haven't been flying recently? A: Yes! There will be a few spots open to attend only the classroom portion of the workshop. This session is extremely beneficial if you are recovering from an injury or as you build up to flying again. Contact us to request this option.

Flying Trapeze Artist - L.J. Mintz

With over 25 years as a movement professional, L.J. brings an artistic quality combined with a scientific approach to moving the body.

Physical fitness and movement have always been a part of L.J’s life. With her strong background in dance, gymnastics, and circus arts, she has performed around the globe as a flying trapeze artist, aerialist, and modern dancer, performing with circuses such as Big Apple Circus and Cirque Du Soliel.

Her natural interest in human movement continued with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science & Health promotion, as well as certifications with STOTT PILATES, Pilates Method Alliance, Pilates Sports Center, and National Academy of Sport Medicine. 

Throughout the years, L.J has been fortunate to work with diverse populations in several different forms of movement. Using her knowledge & experience, combined with her patience & enthusiasm, L.J provides educational, focused, supportive coaching to flyers around the world.Â
